Sustineo Construction is a San Diego-based solar engineering and construction firm dedicated to sustainability, workforce development, and innovation. As the founding organization behind the National Solar Apprenticeship Council (NSAC), we are leading the charge to build a skilled, inclusive, and future-ready solar workforce.
Founded in 2007 by Dave Handman, Sustineo has grown from a design-only firm into a full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) provider. Our projects span commercial, government, and utility-scale solar installations across California and beyond.
Sustainability Simplified

We believe in:
- Training through Apprenticeship: Structured, paid pathways from pre-apprenticeship to superintendent roles
